For dark-beer lovers: God hates light beer?

"Wash yourselves. Cleanse yourselves.Remove your evil deeds from My sight.Stop doing evil...Your silver has become dross, your beer is diluted with water." -Isaiah 1:16,22

I am excited about this:

This is a survey a website put together about modesty. I think it is a good effort and look forward to the results. I have often found that men and women have different views on "what is modest" and as a woman with a lack of husband/brother/male relative figure, it is a confusing topic at times.

A new site to read

Since http://purgatorio1.com/ has gone on hiatus, it's nice to know someone else is promoting satire: http://tominthebox.blogspot.com/

My Favorite Puritan Names

I cannot guarantee the accuracy of my findings, but if they are true, it's pretty great:

My favorites:
Diffidence, Discipline, Dust
Fly-fornication, Kill-sin, Weep-not, Love-well

Troubled with a "DTR" (Define the Relationship)? Take the test!

It's disappointing that this is necessary - and interesting - and funny - all at the same time. I think they have good motives, but I still think it's kind of funny:

Book Quote

I have been reading some old children's books, and this little bit made me glad:

"Are you a sinner?"
"We are all sinners, Eric. The bigger the man, the bigger the sinner, I believe. Yes, I'm a pretty big sinner, I expect."
"I'm so glad," said Eric, cheerfully. "Then Jesus died for you and me. I don't quite know what that means; but it is something good, didn't you say?"
